The Brain Injury Association of America (“BIAA”) is the leading voice of brain injury in the United States. It is the parent organization for a network of state affiliates including the Brain Injury Association of Connecticut and the Brain Injury Association of New York State. These organizations service professionals and businesses involved in the diagnosis, care and treatment of acquired head injury. On November 20, 2008, BIAA announced that effective January 1, 2009 it had designated the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation (“JHTR”) as BIAA’s official scholarly journal.
